I am looking forward to sharing our Independence Day party with you this week, but in the meantime, here are some of my favorite 4th of July party ideas from Pinterest. I used exactly zero of these ideas in my party, but I really do love them all. Maybe you can incorporate them in your celebration. (And if you do, send me the pics! I love to see what ya’ll are up to!)
Favorite 4th of July Party Decorations
Patriotic doily from The Scrap Shoppe — made using a Silhouette.
I am all about the easy wreath and this wreath from Oodlekadoodle Primitives qualifies. You need three packs of mini flag toothpicks and a 10″ styrofoam wreath (and tough thumbs).
Mum balls from Country Living. Might have to do this at our next party.
I like these napkin wraps from Aesthetic Nest because it’s such a great illustration of dressing up something everyday and making it holiday special.
Favorite 4th of July Parties
Love this party from Creative Juice, especially the antique tones and the cake — you must see the cake!
This bright and happy 4th of July party from Anders Ruff has darling lanterns as party of the dessert table.
Backyard BBQ from Celebrations at Home – super tablescape.

Thanks, Lydia! I’ll include that in the recipes tomorrow – it’s totally easy!
