Today I’m excited to introduce you to one of my great blog sponsors, Keisha Sibert from Cupcake Wishes & Birthday Dreams. Right now, Keisha is running a fun “13 Days of Handmade Halloween” series on her blog — you’ll definitely want to check it out.

I received compensation for this review, but all opinions are my own. I only introduce companies and products to you that I believe in.

As the Owner & Event Designer for Cupcake Wishes & Birthday Dreams, Keisha runs a boutique event styling and design service geared towards themed children’s parties and small-scale celebrations. Based in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area, Keisha got her start in planning children’s events after her daughter Tracy was born.

(These cute yarn pom garlands? You can find them in Keisha’s shop.)

As a young adult, Keisha always had a knack for throwing parties and planning events, however, once she began creating and designing her own party decorations, fun cupcakes and cakes and sweets for her children, she knew she was on to something. At the urging of friends and family, Keisha started Cupcake Wishes & Birthday Dreams in June 2009.

Don’t you love Keisha’s party printables?

Today, Keisha is a blogger for her site Cupcake Wishes & Birthday Dreams, as well as the party blogger for MG Party Impressions and she also is a contributing writer for the blog, The DC Ladies. While Keisha mainly styles parties to be featured on the blogs she writes for, much of her time and attention these days is focused on her Etsy shop. In 2012, she was nominated and named one of Top 25 Party Planning Moms on Skinny Scoop and Circle of Moms.

When it comes to parties, Keisha says her style is trendy, fun, colorful, a little wacky and never the same. She also likes to think of herself as a bit insane when it comes to party planning but is definitely fueled by the insanity to turn out a fabulous event.

While Cupcake Wishes & Birthday Dreams is her passion, she says that being a wife and mother is her first love and is amazed by the support and encouragement she receives from her husband and the admiration her children have for all the “fun stuff” their mommy makes for their parties.

If you live in the Washington, D.C. and are looking for someone to create a fun & special occasion for your child’s birthday or small scale event, contact Keisha at ksibert@cupcakewishesandbirthdaydreams.com.

Keep up with Keisha
