Hi All! I’m excited to be back after three weeks. Thank you all for the kind messages and prayers for my dad. He is still in the hospital, but getting stronger. I’m easing back in with this guest party from BluGrass Designs. Paula created the printable collection and styled this darling Sweet Shoppe Birthday Party. You just know the guests must have been thrilled with this party!
Paula says, “I always wanted to create a sweet shoppe party collection and I was so lucky to finally get the opportunity to do it for Becca; a very sweet, cute little girl.”
“I wanted the party to be colorful and fun. I used chevron pattern and bright colors with lollipops for the graphics.” The party printable collection is now available in Paula’s Etsy shop.
The sweets table had a few different type of candies and treats:
- candy coated chocolates
- salt water taffy
- swirl lollipops
- beautiful and delicious gumball machine cookies
- cupcakes
- lollipop topiary
- giant pixie stixs
Paula made the giant pixie stixs into fairy wands by adding a tulle pom pom with ribbons on top — the girls absolutely LOVED them.
The pixy stixs fairy wands were displayed in fake candy cotton that Paula made using ecoSnow (the green alternative of polyfill). Paula used a spray bottle to mix water and food coloring, sprayed into the fiber let it dry and the result… real looking candy cotton! Paula says she tried to use spray paint but it didn’t work as well as the food coloring and water.
