When you buy an entire printable collection, it may include cupcake wrappers. These are the printables I cannot seem to master. My hand just isn’t steady enough to cut a smooth curve, so I’m never pleased with how the wrappers turn out and I tend not to use them. The solution is pretty easy: pre-cut cupcake wrappers. Update: This giveaway has now ended. Congratulations, Krystal!)

Easter cupcake wrappers by The Party Teacher

But I do want to cover up the wrapper the cupcake was baked in. That’s why I was so excited to receive a pack of pre-cut cupcake wrappers from Cupcake with Character.

Shauna sent me one of her Easter sets of 12 wrappers. Her wrappers are professionally printed and cut —so you don’t have to do either! And lucky for you: Shauna is sponsoring a giveaway of one set of her cupcake wrappers! (Read to the bottom of this post to see how to enter.)

Wrappers are available in a standard size of 2″ H x 3″ (across the top) x 2″ (across the bottom). These Easter wrappers are $9 for a set of 12. Mini cupcake wrappers also are available, perfect for mini cupcakes or tarts. Those are sized 1.25″ and are usually $14.40 for a set of 24. You can order one design or a mix of designs.

Shauna offers tons of designs. You can shop by pattern, occasion, or season and of course, there are pages of options for children’s parties.

Here’s how to put the wrappers together  — it could not be any easier. The wrappers come pre-cut with a slot and a tab. Just gently insert the slot into the tab and then ease the tab the rest of the way in.

(Please excuse what’s left of my manicure. This is what happens when your dad has two surgeries in 20 days. This, and a lot of Starbucks.)

I thought it would be fun to dress up the cupcakes a little. So I snagged some of the girls’ plastic Easter eggs and a meat fork. Just twist one tine of the fork into the base of an egg and twist until you’ve made a hole large enough for a lollipop stick.

Then insert the stick.

Ta-da: a very simple to assemble cupcake display.
