Today, I’m excited to welcome Tracy of Sweet Peach Paperie to the blog. Tracy designed all the printables and styled this Pink and Green Sea Turtle Birthday Party for her 4-year-old twin girls. Of course, a party for twin girls is close to my heart.
Tracy’s kiddos wanted a pool party. Just about two weeks before their birthday, they watched a baby turtle crawl from its nest into the ocean — and the inspiration for the sea turtle theme hit Tracy. The party is so cute and I can’t believe how quickly Tracy pulled it all together!
The party was held at their neighborhood clubhouse, with the dessert and dining tables set up on the balcony. The girls photos and initials became the focus of the dessert table — a great option for twins or singletons. (Did you know that kids born one at a time have a name, too? Now you do.)
You know I LOVE Sweet Goosie Girl and Terri wowed with these “sea turtles on a stick” cookies. So much fun — and her cookies are always delicious, too.
The turtle cake and cupcakes came from local Creations Bakery. How cute is it that Tracy used brown sugar as a “sand” base for her treats? I might do the same thing at our dinosaur baby shower in October.
Polka dot napkins were a dollar score at WalMart. (Doesn’t that always feel SO good?)
“Lil Turtle Lunches” were made for all the guests. Each sand castle pail was filled with a starfish sandwich, green apple and some goldfish “Turtle Treats.” Tracy found the sand castle pails at Party City.
Favor Boutique by Angelique created the pink and green soap favors, which were a big hit with the kids. You have to love that age where kids find hand washing exciting!
Thank you, Tracy for sharing your party with us! Your girls are TOO cute!
Keep up with Tracy:
