One of the most popular posts on this blog is a girl’s superhero party. So I thought it might be fun to create a Superhero Mini Party Plan for you. I styled this mini party plan in the traditional red, yellow, and blue, but you could change the color palette for a more girly pink and purple superhero party, if you prefer. And if your party is about one specific superhero instead of multiple heroes, check out my Superhero Party Pinterest board — it’s got even more ideas for you and I add to it all the time.

How to plan a superhero birthday party by The Party Teacher

One of the design choices you’ll need to make will probably be based on the age of your birthday child. Do you want a more juvenile-looking superhero or a more sophisticated, closer to the comic books style? Once you make that choice, stick to it and don’t mix styles.

Two more items that I love:

  • Candyfetti candy sprinkles by Sweets Indeed on Etsy (These are called “circus” in Marie’s shop, but I think they’d be great on cupcakes for a superhero party.)
  • Superhero fondant cake topper by Les Pop Sweets on Etsy (A fondant figurine is an inexpensive way to dress up a homemade cake.)

And of course if the timing works out, you could go see a superhero movie and then head back to your house for a fun dessert table and some backyard games.

If you use capes or masks as party of your decor and activities, those also can double as your party favors.
