If you follow me on Instagram, then you know I escaped my house for a little antiquing a few weeks back and stumbled upon a pink bar cart that I didn’t know I needed. I stayed strong and left the bar cart at the store, but not before posting about my love for it on […]
For years, I’ve had the idea of a brown paper packages party in the back of my mind. I think it’s a combination of how much my girls loved the UPS truck when they were little — or, the “PS truck” as they called it — and knowing that nothing makes a kid happier than […]
Valentine’s Day is such a fun time to decorate a little for the holiday. I try to do a little Valentine’s Day breakfast with a few small gifts, and I’ve got to get busy with those plans soon. So I’ve started searching out free Valentine’s printables, and today I’m featuring my favorite free Valentine’s Day […]
For my Valentine’s Classroom Party, I wanted to think of a low-cost way for the kids to decorate Valentine’s Cay card boxes. While there are cute options in the craft stores, and you could certainly go the brown paper bag route, I really wanted a Valentine’s box that would be affordable for every child.
One of my favorite party tricks is to transform an everyday item into something party special. It’s a sure way to get a low-cost, high-impact result. Which led to me the candy aisle of CVS. (That and the need to pick up a Frappuccino and the latest Vanity Fair.) This is how you make a […]
Last weekend, we went to the dollar store for candy, and now my girls are busy making their classroom Valentine’s Day cards. So you can imagine what my living room floor looks like. Markers, and glue sticks, and paper scraps, oh my! I’m glad they are enjoying their creativity, and the cards will be a […]
Did you miss yesterday’s tips for planning a Classroom Valentine’s Party? I used a tissue fan backdrop, which is a great choice for any party: inexpensive, quick to set up. Tissue fans are especially easy to transport if you have an away from home party. They come in a rainbow variety of colors and patterns, […]
This post is for all the class moms, trying to come up with an easy to plan, easy to transport, and inexpensive idea for Valentine’s Day Classroom Parties. I staged this shoot at my house so that you could have these ideas in time for the holiday. But I kept the classroom in mind, so […]
Today I’m pleased to welcome my friend Susan Noble from Party With The Warriors, who is sharing her Valentine’s Day Tea Party. Susan also is the founder of the Epilepsy Warriors Foundation, a non-profit for children and families who live with epilepsy and seizures. She has a huge heart for children, especially those with health […]
Given the ice storm heading Atlanta’s way, my daughter may not get to take these to school, but I am loving our Cupid’s Arrow Classroom Treats. These Valentine’s Day treats could NOT be any easier. No bake, no fuss. Here’s how.
As the mom of two girls, I sometimes forget about the boys. Give it a few years and all that will change … (although, if you ask my husband, the girls are not allowed to date until they are 30. He always asks them, “When you start dating, do you want me to sit in […]
I’ve gathered up a collection of free classroom Valentines and a few Valentine’s Day party decorations. I’d love to see what you do with these!
Last night, I ordered 64 white lollipops for my girls’ classroom Valentine’s. A little early, I know, but I never know when chaos is going to hit and if I can get something done early, I will. Have you started thinking about Valentine’s Day? Here are some free Valentine’s Day printables to get you started! […]
This weekend, my sister-in-law and I hosted a bridal shower for our nephew’s fiance, the very sweet Ashley. Since the party was so close to Valentine’s Day, and Ashley likes a little vintage flair, we went with a hearts and doilies theme. This was very much a hand-made party and one you could easily recreate.
The Valentine’s Day free printables are coming out fast and furious as the holiday comes closer. Here are four of my favs. (And have you seen my new and improved Freebies page? I’m still building it out, but I add to it daily, so come back again and again!)
Jennifer of BellaGrey Designs sent me her darling Valentine’s Day party that was inspired by her kiddos. The silver, white and red color palette feels so fresh. Jennifer created all the printables shown here (and you can find them in her Etsy shop).
One of the decor elements for our upcoming Valentine’s Bridal Shower will be doily poms, hanging from a chandelier over the dining room table. So of course, I turned to Pinterest and Google for tutorials. I found almost exactly what I needed from Petticoats & Peplums. With a simple tweak, I made these into full […]
One of my sweet sponsors, Cupcake Wishes & Birthday Dreams recently introduced her XOXO printables collection for Valentine’s, and it was so cute, I immediately asked Keisha if I could share it with you. I love how bright and vivid the collection is. The pop of blue makes it clean and modern, and perfect for […]

I’m still working on decorations for a Valentine’s Bridal Shower I’ll be co-hosting in February. You’ve seen my drink bottle wraps and banner here. Today, I’m creating a little art piece. This is another easy, quick and inexpensive project.
