Today I’m excited to share this Little Man Mustache Bash — a milk and cookies party — from Christy Groover. Christy is Jackson’s mom and created the entire third birthday party on her own. Way to go, mom! It looks like Jackson — and everyone else — had a blast at this party. It’s really everything I love in a children’s event: at home, original, and hand crafted.
To go with the “little man” theme, Christy incorporated her husband’s ties. Way to use what you have! You’ll see ties in this front door wreath and in a banner behind the dessert table.
What a cute milk and cookies table!
Christy made all the printables herself in Photoshop!
White chocolate mustaches and frozen grape skewers.
Homemade chocolate pretzel rods.
Christy used my favorite trick of repurposing Starbucks frappucino bottles as old fashioned milk bottles. Her printable reads, “Milk … Does a body good.”
Love the little ties on the cake.
See the little mustaches on the water bottles and glasses?
Here is the dress up table for the photo booth. Christy says, “I filled a wine crate full of photo props to let everyone have fun with. These were set up on a coffee table out front in front of one of the couches that we moved outside. I also set out a few old-timey games for everyone to have fun with too. They were set up under our awning out front — which I made into a little “lounge” so that parents could relax on leather couches and chairs while the kids had fun in the bounce house.”
Christy found her mustaches at Dollar Tree.
Ha! This little guy and his pacie stache made me laugh out loud!
The guests all took home chocolate mustaches and felt play mustaches as party favors.
Great job, Christy! If you have a special party and good photos, I’ve love for you to submit it. Just use my Contact form, and your event might be spotlighted in our Real Parties feature!
