Today I’m excited to bring you this “sprinkled with love” baby shower from Jessica of Party Pants. I love the pinwheels in the backdrop, and the umbrella and rain boots on the dessert table. The whole thing is just a lot of fun!

The custom backdrop by Giggles & Grace Designs pulled the entire display together and was the icing on the cake! Handmade pinwheels surrounding the backdrop and a child size umbrella were the finishing touches to this “sprinkled with love” baby shower.

Jessica says, “I am naturally drawn to sweet color palettes and whimsical themes. So, when I am asked to style baby showers I usually find myself focusing on the “baby’ aspect of things instead of the ‘shower’ aspect. Although I never get sick of diaper cake centerpieces and pacifier napkin rings, I knew I wanted to change the styling of this party to the ‘shower’ end of things.”

Jessica chose Designs by Nicolina to create the invitations, table tents and food labels. to match. The aqua background really makes the rainbow colors pop! Jessica kept the linens and display pieces to be as simple as possible to make the printables stand out.

Instead of a traditional cake, Jessica served a donut cake. She says, “I had always wanted to use a heaping tower of mini powdered donuts in place of a cake and this was my perfect chance!  The powdered sugar combined with the rainbow sprinkles were a match made in heaven for this dessert table. I topped it off with handmade aqua pinwheels attached to striped straws.”Photo Oct 21, 1 52 26 AM

For party favors, Jessica chose ponchos. She packed them in jumbo chevron bags adorned with umbrella cookie cutters.Photo Oct 21, 1 49 18 AM
