I’ll date myself here by saying I remember when Minnie Mouse’s dress was red. But clearly, pink has won out and of course you can’t beat the polka dots. Nikka of Triple M Good Parties created this Minnie Mouse 5th birthday party for her daughter. (I want to pinch those little cheeks!)
Nikka says, “My daughter Mayson loves anything pink, sparkly and Minnie. Lucky for her I do, too. I wanted her party to be just that for her. Now that she is 5, she has a lot of ‘must have’s’ and I loved hearing all her ideas.”
Minnie Mouse Invitations
Let’s start with the invitations by Kute Kardz. In addition to being adorable, if you can read the fine print, you’ll see that Mayson requested no gifts please. Instead guests were asked to donate to pediatric cancer research — way to go.
Minnie Mouse Pink & Sparkle Decor
“Pink” and “sparkle” were the keys to this party. Nikka made almost all the decorations and food — whew! Nikka says, “I sparkled and put a Minnie Mouse bow on anything I could. It sparkled, it was pink and it screamed Minnie!”
The cake banner and Minnie Mouse cupcake holders were made by Bellas N’ Fellas.
Minnie Mouse Drink Station
The drink station inverted the pink and black combo of the dessert table. You can find plastic milk bottles at any number of online party stores, or if you can trust your guests with glass, wash out and reuse Starbucks Frappuccino bottles.
This “M” looks like the same letters from Hobby Lobby that I used for my Dress Up Party.
Nikka made these party favors — little gumball “machines” with Sixlets and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse toppers.
Those look like some happy kids with their cake pops. Nikka says, “We all had a hot diggety dog time!”
