This weekend, I got the fun surprise of a new advertiser with a really different craft. Lili DiPrima — all the way from Italy via Etsy — designs custom, vintage-style portraits. Lucky us, she’s sponsoring a giveaway of one custom portrait! Update: the giveaway is now closed.
The process is really simple:
- You send Lili a photo of your child and your pet (if you have one).
- Lili will email you a sketch.
- You’ll work together to tweak it.
- Lili will mail you your portrait PLUS send you a jpg file of the portrait.
The printed portrait is matted to a 7″ x 5″ size. And the jpg lets you have an electronic version you could use as an avatar.
The portrait is valued at $65, plus shipping.
Lili offers other variations, in case you want to include two children — or even your whole family! I think these would be great birthday presents or even used in a large size as a party backdrop.
