What is not to love about today’s guest feature? I love the crepe paper rainbow backdrop. I love the rainbow cupcakes. I love the cookies — stunning. So excited to share this eye candy from Michelle at Michelle’s Party Plan It with you!
Michelle designed the printables, styled the party, and whipped up the desserts (except the cookies) for her family’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration. She focused on the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, so the cupcakes and candies are all in rainbow colors. Michelle even included gold wrapped candy bars.
Horseshoes, and shamrocks and leprechaun hats: the detail on the cookies by Casey’s Confections is so charming. They totally deserve to be elevated on this cake stand! And don’t you like how the jumbo rainbow lollipops are displayed in jars of green candy?
When I host birthday parties, I usually put favors in all the same color packaging, just to avoid the “I want the red one!!!” trauma from younger guests. But I think Michelle’s use of gable boxes in the colors of the rainbow is really clever. And of course I’m digging the green tablecloth with orange runner. Got to use the colors of the Irish flag!
Gumballs make kids happy, and who wouldn’t be thrilled to take home a tube of rainbow gumballs? And just in case they weren’t sugared up enough, guests took home personalized cookies and {green!} popcorn treats. The treat packaging is a great trick to remember for any party: candy cup + treat sack + bow + tag. Easy and done!
Thanks, Michelle for sharing your party with us!
Keep up with Michelle
