Adding sprinkles to your drink bottles is fun way to elevate your party table. It’s inexpensive and takes zero skill — which also makes it one of my favorite party moves.
This trick works for any glass or plastic bottle. All you need are sprinkles and light Karo syrup. If you don’t have Karo syrup around, you can also use a tub of white cake frosting, bottled cookie frosting, or candy melts — all available from the grocery store.
Sprinkle bottle Instructions
1 – Pour about 2 tablespoons of Karo syrup into small small shallow bowl.
2 – Dip your glass or bottle in the syrup, wiggling it around a little bit so that the syrup coats the edge of the rim and a little bit of the inside and outside of the rim as well.
3 – Then immediately dip your glass or bottle into the sprinkles, twisting it around so the sprinkles thoroughly coat the Karo syrup.
And that’s it. Couldn’t be any easier! If you have weird sprinkles bunching up or sticking out in some odd way, just gently gently tap them back into place with your finger.
Make the bottles the morning of your party and they’ll hold up just fine.
TIP: When it’s time to pour in your drink, aim for the middle of the bottle and try not to hit the sprinkles. Also, if you’re pouring anything carbonated, go slowly so the soda doesn’t foam up and dislodge your sprinkles.
This is an easy way to dress up any bottle for any occasion. It’s a trick you can use over and over during the year.
