I am all about an easy, DIY party dessert. These Easter bunny cupcakes are totally easy, and very much a DIY. It’s great to have a few DIYs up your sleeve to help minimize your party costs. If you’ve splurged on a cake or decorated sugar cookies, your party budget will thank you for rounding out your dessert table with a few homemade treats.

This is one of those tutorials that seems too simple to even explain, but time and again, these types of posts and Instagram Reels are the content that is the most popular. I’m guessing it’s because sometimes you just need that spark of an idea and it feels GREAT to know that you can re-create the idea without any particular skills or experience.
Please let me know: do you like these simple and do-able DIYs?

Supplies
- White frosted cupcakes
- Wilton icing bunny feet (Wilton or Walmart)
- Mini marshmallows
- Wilton white ruffle cupcake liners (Amazon)
Instructions
So here we go!
1 – Make or buy white frosted cupcakes.

2 – Add two bunny feet to the front of your cupcakes.

3 – Add one mini marshmallow to the center top of the cupcakes.

How to Style the Cupcakes
I added these cupcakes along with a variety of cookies and jelly beans to our bunnies and bows Easter dinner sideboard.

The cupcakes rest in a compote dish. While the dish is shallow, I needed to give it a firm bottom for the cupcakes, instead of its natural curved bottom.

To create a flat bottom in a serving dish, just add a small plate turned upside down. That fills some of the contour and creates the flat bottom.

Now, fill the dish with raffia or Easter grass or crinkle shred.

Now, add your cupcakes, depressing them a bit into the crinkle shred.

Happy Easter!! Do you have any questions about creating or styling your Easter celebration? Let me know, and I’ll try to answer in comments below.
