I love a cute desert and don’t mind paying for them, but I’m also very much into saving a little money. One of the easiest treats for your Halloween party is to find pre-made desserts that are white or beige. A little melted chocolate, some googly eye candy plus chocolate chips, and you’ve got darling ghost desserts for your Halloween party.

Supplies
- Ghirardelli white chocolate
- White meringue cookies from Sprouts
- Biscotti from Target
- Chocolate chips
- Candy googly eyes from Amazon
- Wilton candy melting pot from Amazon
- Plastic spoon

Meringue Ghosts
I found meringue cookies at Sprouts. These are the absolute easiest. You can attach the chocolate chips with melted chocolate like I did. Or, you could use a little dab of cookie frosting in a tube.
All you have to do is melt Ghirardelli white chocolate. Do this in the microwave or on the stove top, but I find it easier to use my Wilton candy melting pot. Once the candy is melted, the pot keeps it at the right temperature so you don’t have to keep reheating as you work.
1 – Melt the chocolate in the melting pot, stirring occasionally until smooth.

2 – Use something small and flat to get just a dab of the melted chocolate. I used the tip of a handle of an appetizer spoon.

3 – Smooth a dab of melted chocolate on the flat side of a chocolate chip.

4 – Press the chocolate chips to the meringues to create ghost eyes. You also could add a ghost mouth.

Biscotti Ghosts
The biscotti came from Target. I like how the little curve gives the ghosts some movement.
1 – Just dip the biscotti halfway or 3/4 of the way in your melted chocolate, twisting and turning to coat all sides.

2 – Then lay it down on a piece of parchment paper to set up. Add candy googly eyes.

You could also use mini chocolate chips if you don’t like the hard crunch of the candy eyes. (I just pop the candy eyes off before dipping the biscotti in coffee.)

And that’s it. These ghosts would be great for a Halloween party or a classroom party. If you try these let me know. I’d love to see your pictures!
