For our Mini New Year’s Eve Celebration, I thought it would be fun to have a signature drink — but for kids. Then my friend Beth reminded me of my Grinch Soda Floats that have become a tradition in her family, which I could not love more, and I found my inspiration. Take one part Poppi Raspberry Rose Soda, one part ice cream, and of course whipped cream, and you have Raspberry Soda Floats! Perfect for a New Year’s Eve in with the kids.

Raspberry Soda Float instructions
1 – Choose a glass that can hold a can of soda + a scoop of ice cream. I used CHEERS glasses that I found in the Target Dollar Aisle a few year ago.

2 – Pour Karo syrup into one coffee saucer and pink sanding sugar into a second coffee saucer. Dip the rim of your glass into the Karo syrup.

3 – Now dip the rim into the pink sanding sugar.

4 – Carefully pour the soda into the glass, avoiding the sanding sugar.

5 – Add one scoop of ice cream to the glass.

6 – Top with whipped cream.

7 – Add gold star sprinkles.

8 – If you like, embellish with drink stirrers or a straw.

These were so yummy and quick to make up. We loved them and I hope you will, too!
