In January, we hosted a giveaway to celebrate the relaunch of our website and blog. Our lucky winner, Donna of The Epicurean Crafter, walked away with prizes from 11 talented sponsors.

But Donna must be the luckiest girl ever because she also won giveaways from Mom Endeavors, Cakes and Kids, Tea Party Designs and our friend Laura of Eye Candy Event Details. Donna parlayed her winnings into a darling dinosaur fourth birthday party for her daughter. How fun is that? I love the idea of a girly dino party.

From the Mom Endeavors giveaway, Donna won mini custom printables from Katie of Sweet Rose Studio. Katie created the cupcake toppers, thank you tags and invitations. Donna used twine from The Twinery in Lilac and Peapod to wrap the favor bags and string up the banners.

Donna put together her first dessert table and made her own cake pops.

From the Eye Candy Event Details giveaway, Donna won these custom dino marshmallow pops from The Marshmallow Studio. From the Cakes and Kids giveaway, Donna used a shop credit to buy a cupcake kit and the Mid Size Bitty Bags. Also, from her giveaway, Donna won a dozen marshmallow pops from Sassy Soirees.

Donna says, “The other HUGE giveaway I won was from Double the Fun Parties. Thank you Jennifer! It couldn’t have come at a better time — three weeks before the big day. At that point I was wondering how I was going to get everything done by myself with working 50 hours a week, cooking dinner from scratch almost every night, and trying to hang out with my family. I am also a pretty big fan of sleep and I was hoping that I wouldn’t have to lose too much. I decided to call upon the services of two of the sponsors to see if they could have something for me in such short notice.”

“First, I emailed the fabulous Faith of Faith’s Cookies and I ordered a dozen yummy butterscotch chip and delicious chocolate chip. She had them sent quickly, carefully packaged and tied with the party colors.”

“The next amazing sponsor is Kima of Kima’s Konfections. I won a $30 credit to her shop and Kima made custom dinosaurs in the party colors. I was so happy and even happier when they arrived!”

From the Tea Party Designs giveaway, Donna won a gift certificate that she used for a custom dinosaur birthday t-shirt transfer and a banner.

Donna says, “I don’t think I have ever put so much effort in a little kid’s party before but it was lots of fun and I really learned a lot.” I’m so happy to have been a part of helping Donna create a sweet at-home party for her cute girl!
