A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of creating a Vintage Tea Party Kit for Audrey’s fifth birthday. My tea party kits are the easiest way to shop for your child’s birthday party: I ship the party to your door. You add the food, and you’re done!
So I was really pleased to see photos from Audrey’s party in my email! Mom Cassondra held the party in her backyard and it looks like the girls had a great time! This photo shows a lot of what you receive in the Vintage Tea Party Kit:
- Cups and saucers
- Crackers filled with two dress-up necklaces
- Felt cookies for party favors
- Doilies for placemats
- Maribou trimmed gloves
- Pink fabric napkins and tablecloth
The kit also includes the organza chair ties and tea pot centerpiece.
Here are the girls learning to walk while balancing books on their heads — one of the party activities. Don’t you love how they came in costume?

I love how Audrey’s little sister is so carefully managing her tea cup but also has her sippy cup at the ready!
Thanks for sharing your party with us, Cassondra! To see my version of this pink and yellow tea party, click here. And if you like to take more of a DIY approach, consider my Vintage Tea Party Plan — a 50+ page guide to throwing your own special party. (And don’t forget to send me your party pics!)
What a wonderful tea party kit! Makes it so much easier to throw a pretty celebration!
